MechaLong - The Spirit of REC

In Vietnamese culture, Dragons have long been considered a sacred symbol, deeply intertwined with our history. Throughout our many dynasties, the image of Dragons has had diverse transformations preserved in archaeological sites and cultural relics. Yet, above all, Dragons stand as a symbol of 𝑎𝑢𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦, 𝑤𝑖𝑠𝑑𝑜𝑚, 𝑎𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 and the 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒 of the Vietnamese spirit.

For generations, especially during the Lý dynasty - a prosperous period of Đại Việt’s culture and intellect,🔎 the Lý Dragon, with a dignified and elegant beauty, its head held high, and its body gracefully emerging as though soaring among the clouds. But Dragons not only symbolized power and our nation’s indomitable spirit, they also represented the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment.

From that very spirit, 𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 was born 🐉 - a mechanical Dragon of the digital age, inspired by the Lý dynasty’s Dragon, embodying the fusion of Vietnam’s cultural heritage and the innovative mindset of modern technology.

🐲𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 is more than just a mascot - it is the spiritual emblem of 𝐑𝐄𝐂 (𝑅𝑜𝑏𝑜𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐸𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑠 𝐶𝑙𝑢𝑏), a community of young engineering and research enthusiasts. Every competition, every project and every line of code created at REC adds to MechaLong’s strength.
